About the Retreats

Escape to a breathtaking Handpan Retreat nestled in the heart of Transylvania. I am waiting for you in a stunning location that combines authenticity, comfort and style in a masterful way, inviting you to set back and relax while the chimney fire is whispering along with handpan music, nice people and a lot of inspiration for your playing.

Join me for this workshop to learn to express yourself through music and more than that, learn the art of telling a story through music.

In this workshop we can learn also about the handpan as a tool for self-discovery, for reconnecting with the deep side of our soul, for reconnecting with the flow of life, for the beauties of life, for communicating on a higher level when singing with other people and how it can be a gateway to a more fulfilling life.

It is not necessary to have a handpan. You will receive one during the workshop for practice.

3 Days Workshop - Basic Experience - 670 euro

The price includes accommodation for 3 nights (double room), Vegetarian Food & Drinks, a handpan for you in case you don’t have.

You will learn different elements of Rhythm, Melody and Harmony. We will approach music from various angles, Learn to Compose and to Improvise. Regarding of your level there will be tailored information for you to bring your skill to the next level.

What we will focus on:

  • Rhythm, Melody, Harmony

  • Learn different ways to get out if you feel stuck with certain patterns

  • Approach music from different angles, from melodic side of from experimental intuitive side

7 Days Workshop - Intensive Experience - 1540 euro

The price includes accommodation for 7 nights (double room), Vegetarian Food & Drinks, a handpan for you in case you don’t have.

All from above plus you will learn about depths of Composition and Improvisation, and more than this, learn to create musical Stories. Besides music storytelling you will learn at this level The Blueprint of Pro Level Musician. I will teach you all that I learned in 15 years of full-time handpan player. the basics of recording your music, what mics for which scenario to choose (live performance, recording album)

Schedule:

Day 1 - 3

Day 4

  • Free Jamming Day. Learn to listen. Learn to communicate through sound.

  • We will have some fun games to integrate all these

Day 5 - 6

  • Advanced Composition Tools

  • Structure

  • Storytelling in Music

Day 7

  • Recording & Playing Live (best choice for microphone selection, mic placement, recorders for different scenarios/ studio/ outdoor/ live)

  • Video Recording (basic infos in choosing different types of cameras, basic photography and videography principles to follow when you film yourself)

  • Promotion and how to grow your channels (some youtube and social media hacks)

  • What are the steps to become a full time musician

8 Days Workshop - Premium Experience - 1990 euro

The price includes accommodation for 8 nights (double room), Vegetarian Food & Drinks, a handpan for you in case you don’t have.

Book one more day to the 7 Days Retreat (8 Days in total) and you get the Full Premium Experience.

What you will get in plus:

  • Full - Time Concert in the last night by the fire

  • A professional video with your music. I will guide you through making a composition, after that I will make for you a professional video with pro level cameras and a drone

Cancellation Policy

Sometimes the unpredictable happends and we have to change plans. Here is what you should know in case you cannot attend anymore:

  • 60 to 30 days in advance - 20% of the total

  • 30 to 14 days in advance - 30% of the total

  • Within 14 days before the start - 50% of the total

  • Less than 72 hours before arrival - 100% of the total
